In Madrid, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Uzkimyosanoat, held talks with Shiana Mendes, State Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain.

The event was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Kingdom of Spain.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further prospects for cooperation with Spanish companies in the chemical industry of Uzbekistan, in particular with the company "Maxam", with which two enterprises for the production of mineral fertilizers of the companies “Maxam-Chirchik” and “Ammophos-Maxam" are currently established and successfully operate.

At the same time, the proposals of the parties on the agenda of the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, scheduled for the second half of this year in Tashkent, were considered.
